Upon the assault of the Black Dragon Flight on Stormwind,the Argent Crusade arrives,but soon they find that they are a little too late.With the help of the survivors in the city the Crusade draws victory.Tirion Fordring the leader of the Argent Crusade walks through the burning ruins of the falling city to find the king and his son,unfortunately he finds someone else.He sees the body of Jaina Proudmoore lying on the street near a burning tree,at the same moment someone yells that the king and his son are alive.Tirion takes Jaina's body and heads for the gate.As he walks on the bridge to the gate the sorceress's magic flows away into the sky,her soul is finally reunited with one she loves Arthas...

Absolutely breath taking, you can feel the sadness in Tirion's heart as he watches her magic leave her body, the destruction of Stormwind and the death of Jaina, her soul flying into the heavens to reunite with her love Arthas.

Completely ignoring Edge of Night, Tides of War, the Panda Invasion, and so on, THIS, in my not-so-humbly-biased opinion, would have been AWESOME!!! A tragic and beautifully bittersweet end to a great character, with a satisfying happily-ever-afterlife for a great couple. Heck, Thrall might have been *devastated* once he got news of it, and perhaps not so keen to just save the world and then step back to watch it burn a different way. =P
*sigh*
This is awesome. Did I mention it's awesome? Because I'll say it again, IT'S AWESOME.
