As a child his parents and sister were killed by humans,fortunately he survived.Full of hate and tormented by the lost of his family he could only think of revenge.He searched for a warrior to teach him how to fight.Unfortunately the teacher he met tricked him and sold him to an arena master.At the arena he was kept in a dungeon and was trained so when he grow up he will fight.The years passed and when he was strong enough he escaped.He went to the Echo isle and there he became a warrior and found that his sister is alive.After meeting her he was no longer obsessed with revenge for he was no longer alone in the world.However he was a warrior and he had to fight to protect her from invaders.Much blood was spilled over the next years,he fought in many battles but he knew when to show mercy.Latter he was promoted to general.Vol'jin trusted him not only for saving his life from an assassin but because he was a great warrior and he knew what was right.One night he spoke to him in private,he told him that the horde will have a new warchief and he doesn't trust him.Then he gave him an armor different from the horde armor's and told him that he is going to be a leader of a secret army that will act in a crisis and will only obey him(Vol'jin) or Thrall.
